Meet Chislers Babywear - Family Owned Since 1983
A family-run Irish boutique for more than 43 years, Chislers has been dressing little ones for generations, offering a beautiful mix of everyday children’s clothing, special occasion outfits, newborn gifts and carefully chosen toys.
Based in Navan, Co. Meath, Chislers is an independent, Irish-owned children’s clothing boutique with a wonderful family story behind it.
The business was founded in 1983 by Mary and John Colgan and is now proudly run by their daughters, Susan Colgan and Linda Austin. The name Chislers comes from an old Dublin slang word for children – a fitting name for a business that has spent more than four decades celebrating childhood.
Today, Susan and Linda continue the family tradition of offering beautifully made clothing, personal service and a carefully considered collection for little ones.

Dressing Generations of Families
One of the things that makes Chislers so special is the generations of families who have grown up with the store.
As Susan and Linda explain:
"We find now in the shop that customers who were dressed as children are now dressing their children in Chislers. Watching generations of families returning to Chislers is something we will never take for granted."
From everyday outfits to those all-important milestones, the boutique offers clothing for some of childhood's most memorable moments, including Christenings, Weddings, First Communion, flower girl dresses and festive Christmas outfits.
